These regulations define the rules and procedures for the full understanding between guests and management of the Pousada, bearing in mind that common sense and mutual respect constitute the best basis for coexistence in a civilized manner. We count on the understanding and collaboration of everyone to maintain an interaction characterized by politefulness and professionalism.

  • DAILY RATES – Daily rates are valid from 2:00pm on day of arrival (check-in) until 11:00am (check-out) on the day of departure. Continuation of the stay outside of these hours constitutes a new daily charge. Should you wish to delay your departure time, please consult the reception in advance.
  • IDENTIFICATION – All guests must present an identification document at the moment of check-in. Minors should be accompanied by parents or possess a document from the parents giving permission to travel.
  • BREAKFAST – Breakfast is included in the daily rate and is served from 8:00am to 10:00am. We do not serve outside of these hours.
  • ROOM CLEANING – The changing of towels and sheets is conducted every three days, according to Embratur’s guidelines of environmental preservation. Room cleaning is conducted daily.
  • BARBEQUE – The use of the barbeque is free of charge, but advance reservation is required. A deposit of R$50,00 will be held related to the cleanliness of the area (this amount will be refunded after verification that the area was left in the same state in which it was found).
  • ADDITIONAL EXPENSES – Expenses which are not covered by the daily rate (consumption of food and drinks from reception) must be paid separately.
  • KEYS – Should the guest lose the keyring with room key and remote control for the main gate, a replacement charge of R$ 50,00 applies.
  • ENERGY SAVING – On leaving the Pousada, the Guest should turn off the television, air-conditioning, ceiling fan and lights with the aim of saving electricity (conservation of the environment) and avoiding damage and risk of fire.
  • VALUABLES – The Pousada does not offer a safe and the Guest is responsible for personal valuables.
  • LOST AND FOUND – Any object found in the Pousada will be stored for a period of 60 days. After this period, failing anyone having requested the object, it will be disposed of in the most convenient manner, at the discretion of the Pousada.
  • PARKING – The Pousada offers internal parking for one car per room, with the Pousada not accepting responsibility for any damage caused by third parties or theft from vehicles which are left in the parking area.
  • PROPERTY – The Guest is responsible for any damage he/she causes to the Pousada’s installations. Equipment and accessories will be handed to Guests in perfect working order, thus becoming the responsibility of the Guest until check-out, upon which an inspection will be conducted by staff. In the event of damage to or loss of any property, the Guest will be responsible and obliged to cover the total financial loss on the moment of departure from the Pousada.

    Bearing in mind that Henna tattoos (which are commonly done on the beach) leave stains on the linen and towels, Guests are aware that they are responsible for the reimbursement of any stained or damaged linen or towels, for whatever reason, which will be charged accordingly:

    Double Sheet – R$60,00
    Single Sheet – R$45,00
    Face Towel – R$15,00
    Bath Towel – R$20,00

  • VISITORS – Access to rooms is restricted solely to Guests and Pousada staff. Visitors should wait in the Reception.
  • COEXISTENCE – The Pousada reserves the right to cancel the stay of any Guest who behaves or has behaved in a manner which transgresses the moral norms of coexistence. The Guest or visitor may be asked to vacate the room and depart the Pousada, for infringing any rule of these Regulations, for exhibiting anti-social behaviour, or for non-payment of the bill presented.
NOT ALLOWED IN THE POUSADA
  • Smoking in the room.
  • Hanging towels on the balcony, in the garden, behind the bar fridge and on the rooms windows – please use the washing lines provided.
  • Loud noise which disturbs others or music played from a vehicle. All noise should abate between the hours of 10:00pm and 7:00am.
  • Cooking in the rooms.
  • Entry to the service areas of the Pousada – staff kitchen, laundry, office, etc.
  • Animals (domestic or wild) in the confines of the Pousada (according to sanitary regulations).
POOL
  • Sunscreen lotion is not allowed in the pool area – please use the outdoor shower before entering the pool.
  • It is strictly forbidden to enter with bottles or glass cups in the pool area.
  • It is not permitted to bring towels from the rooms to the pool or beach. If a towel is noted missing, the value of a new one will be levied.
  • Unaccompanied children are not allowed in the pool area.
  • The Pousada does not have lifeguards.
  • Opening hours for the pool are between 9:00am and 10:00pm.

Our staff have been selected and trained with the objective of providing the best service for our Guests. If any of them acts in a way which lacks efficiency or fairness, we ask that our Guests take their complaints to Management who will take immediate action.
