Sharks, penguins, jellyfish, colourful seahorses and many other species of local and foreign fauna form part of the attractions at the Ubatuba Aquarium, where visitors have the opportunity to see up close a little of the complex ocean world. Our oceans occupy more than 70% of the surface of our planet and contribute largely to the existence and propagation of life, including the most elaborate life-forms: humans.<\/p>\n[rev_slider aquarium]\n

Tanks<\/h4>\n

\"Aquarium<\/a>Founded in 1996 by a group of oceanographers, the aquarium has 12 saltwater tanks – among them one of the largest tanks in Brazil at 80 thousand litres.<\/p>\n

One of the main attractions is the Touch Tank which allows the contact between visitors and diverse examples of sea animals, like sea cucumbers and starfish, lobsters and more – always under the guidance of one of our specialised monitor staff.<\/p>\n

Opening Hours<\/h4>\n

During the school year, the aquarium opens daily from 10:00 until 20:00 from Sunday to Thursday. Friday and Saturday it opens from 10:00 until 22:00.
