Children older than 5 years must be included in the number of adults at the moment of booking.
In the accessible rooms, we make exceptions only for disabled or wheelchair users, whom should contact the pousada if they wish to reserve a room for 2 people only.
Stay
Prices are based on the period of occupancy, type of accommodation and number of occupants. Changes to reservation dates, numbers of guests or type of accommodation may result in a change in price.
- DAILY RATES - Daily rates are valid from 2:00pm on day of arrival (check-in) until 11:00am (check-out) on the day of departure. Continuation of the stay outside of these hours constitutes a new daily charge. Should you wish to delay your departure time, please consult the reception in advance.
- BREAKFAST - Breakfast is included in the daily rate and is served from 8:00am to 10:00am. We do not serve outside of these hours.
- ROOM CLEANING - The changing of towels and sheets is conducted every three days, according to Embratur's guidelines of environmental preservation. Room cleaning is conducted daily.
- BARBEQUE - The use of the barbeque is free of charge, but a reservation is required in advance.
- VALUABLES – The Pousada does not possess a safe and the Guest is responsible for personal valuables.
- PARKING – The Pousada offers internal parking for one car per room.
- IDENTIFICATION - All guests must present an identification document at the moment of check-in. Minors should be accompanied by parents or possess a document from the parents giving permission to travel.
Forbidden in the Pousada
- Smoking in the bedrooms.
- Loud noise which disturbs others, music played from a vehicle or likewise. All noise should abate between the hours of 10:00pm and 7:00am.
- Cooking in the bedrooms.
- Animals (domestic or wild) in the confines of the Pousada (according to sanitary regulations).
Pool
- The Pousada does not provide towels for the beach or pool.
- Unaccompanied children are not allowed in the pool area.
- We do not have lifeguards.
- Opening hours for the pool are between 9:00am and 10:00pm
Payment & Cancellation
- Reservations can be made through our online booking system or by telephone. A deposit of 50% of the total value is required.
- In the case of payment of deposit by credit card, the client will receive confirmation of the reservation shortly after the approval of the transaction.
- In the case of a deposit by bank transfer, the reservation can only be confirmed once the scanned proof of deposit has been sent to the Pousada by email – until then there is only a temporary booking.
- Whilst the reservation has not been finalized via confirmation of payment, the Pousada does not guarantee accommodation, and may cancel the temporary booking without notice.
- Once the receipt of payment has been confirmed, the Pousada will send an email validating the reservation.
- This validation serves as a binding Contract between the Pousada and the Guest.
- The Guest is aware that there is no right to refund, unless notification is given to the Pousada at least 7 days in advance of the check-in date.
- Cancellations must always be communicated in writing and are not acceptable by telephone.
- On check-in, the Guest must complete full payment of the reservation amount.
- We accept Visa, Mastercard and American Express.
- Payment by cheque is subject to consultation.
- We do not offer refunds for early departure, for whatsoever reason.
